ASWA Scholarship
In keeping with the mission of the American Society of Women Accountants of helping advance people in their accounting careers the Bellevue chapter annually awards scholarships of cash. The funding for these scholarships comes from donations by ASWA members and guests.
The Bellevue Chapter is proud to present three scholarship awards this year:
- $1,000 Cash award for a 4-year student
- $1,000 Cash award for a 2-year student
Additionally, each winner will receive one year of free membership to the Bellevue chapter of ASWA. Please visit the Events page to find out more about our meeting times, locations and speakers.

- Please mail application in triplicate. One transcript copy is sufficient.
- 2009 Scholarship application deadline is November 10, 2009
The criteria are as follows:
- Must be a student attending in the Puget Sound region.
- Full or part-time students attending colleges, universities, vocational or technical schools and pursuing a degree in accounting or persons actively pursuing their CPA or CMA designations.
- Applicants are given consideration based on academic or financial need.
- Applicants must have taken at least basic courses in accounting to show aptitude and intention in pursuing an accounting career.
- Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, national origin, sex, age, disabilities, religion, sexual preference or marital status.
